The Promise That Built Lash Intensive®
This is my jagged journey in faith.
I didn’t set out to build a beauty brand—I was just trying to find God in the chaos.
At my lowest moment, I met Lisa—a divine appointment—who taught me how to anchor my life in scripture and walk by faith. That encounter changed everything.
What followed was a jagged journey:
I moved to Newport Coast to live near family—the desire of my heart. One night, sitting in the Panera Bread parking lot after dinner with my cousin Shirley, I broke down. I asked God if He had forgotten to give me a career. I was lost and hopeless. That night, I made a vow:
“If You give me a career, I’ll spend the rest of my life sharing what You teach me.”
A year later, while visiting Seattle at rock bottom, I cried out to God again—this time to forgive Grace, the woman who left her husband to live with mine in my own home. I told God, “Your Word says to forgive, but I don’t know how to mean it.”
And in the stillness, I heard a whisper:
“Let’s start there.”
I made promises to God about how I would respond every time the name Grace was in my face—100 times a day.
The next day, God opened the door to my new career.
Seven years later, Lash Intensive® was born—not from ambition, but from obedience.
It started with one promise. One prayer. One friend named Perla I wanted to teach.
Now, it’s a movement.
